Frequently asked questions

How do you guarantee the authenticity of your watches?

We have a rigorous multi-point authentication process. Our team of watch experts meticulously inspect every timepiece to verify its provenance, serial numbers, and all components to ensure it’s 100% genuine. We’ve even written a blog on how to spot a fake Rolex, incase you’re unsure what to look out for yourself.

Is a luxury watch a good investment? Such as a Rolex?

While not all watches are a financial investment, certain brands and rare models can appreciate significantly over time. Popular brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet are particularly known for holding or increasing in value.

You can take a look at our men’s Rolex watches and women’s Rolex watches to browse for a specific model. Or, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, we can source it for you.

How should I care for and maintain my luxury watch?

Proper care is essential for a watch’s longevity. We recommend regular cleaning with a soft cloth, avoiding extreme temperatures and magnetic fields, and having it serviced by a professional every 3-5 years to ensure the movement remains in perfect working order. Take a little look at this blog on servicing a Rolex to find out more.

Why should I buy a pre-owned luxury watch?

Buying a pre-owned watch offers a significant value proposition. It allows you to access iconic brands (such as Rolex) and models at a more accessible price point, find rare or discontinued pieces, and often results in a better investment over time as some models appreciate in value.

We’ve put together lots of helpful advice in our blog, even for seasoned Rolex collectors – including information on buying a pre-owned Rolex.

What is the condition of your pre-owned watches?

All our watches undergo a thorough inspection and service to ensure they are in excellent working condition. Our detailed product descriptions and high-resolution images provide a transparent view of each watch’s aesthetic condition, noting any minor signs of wear.

What does “box and papers” mean?

“Box and papers” refers to a pre-owned watch being sold with its original manufacturer’s box and all accompanying documentation, such as the warranty card and service records. Having these items significantly enhances a watch’s value and provides additional proof of authenticity and provenance.

I want a specific model, can you source it for me?

Definitely. If we don’t currently have a specific model in stock, we can look to source your perfect timepiece. We have a fast turnaround of just 1-3 days, too, so you won’t be left waiting for long before adding your next watch to your collection.

How can I sell or trade my watch with you?

You can begin by filling out our online form with details about your watch. Our experts will then provide a preliminary valuation. Once we receive and authenticate the watch, we’ll finalise the offer and proceed with payment or trade-in credit. You’ll need to provide I.D & allow us to search the watches through ‘The watch register’ for peace of mind all round.

How is the value of my watch determined?

The value is based on several factors, including the brand, model, age, condition, whether it has its original box and papers, and current market demand. Our team uses real-time market data to provide the most accurate and competitive valuation possible.
